Treating ovarian cysts and PCOS: This course will take an indepth look at the pathology of ovarian cysts, and the multi system involvement in polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS.) The participant will become familiar with laboratory values consistent with cystic ovarian presentations, and how these excesses can be treated with electroacupuncture stimulation, herbs to reduce androgenic activity, and TCM dietary therapy. The course will also cover how to address excess cysts associated with IVF hormonal stimulation, and modern day treatments that differ from addressing cysts due to kidney yang vacuity.
